Return and Refund Policy

We want you to love your purchase, but if something isn't right, we're here to help.

Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 30-day return policy for change-of-mind returns. You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return:

  • The item must be in its original condition: unused, unworn, with tags attached, and in its original packaging.

  • You must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at hello@youngwonderer.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Please note: For change-of-mind returns, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately at hello@youngwonderer.com if:

  • Your item is defective,

  • Damaged during transit, or

  • You received the wrong item.

We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. In cases of a faulty or incorrect item, we will cover return shipping costs.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants),

  • Custom products (e.g., personalised or special orders),

  • Personal care items (e.g., beauty products),

  • Hazardous materials (e.g., flammable liquids or gases),

  • Gift cards.

Sale items can be returned if they are faulty, defective, or not as described.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item, the fastest way is to return the original item and make a separate purchase for the new item once your return is accepted.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to finalise and post the refund to your account.


Important Notice (to meet ACL requirements)

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law:
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
